Samsung Galaxy Chat with Android 4 Qwerty phone

Samsung has announced Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330, their first mid-range QWERTY keyboard phone running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Galaxy Chat is a low-end device, phone does have two surprises for techies  on this budget. it set to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 3-incher will also come with a physical QWERTY keyboard. This phone from Samsung is a Touch and Type Android phone.
The phone also comes with many preloaded apps including ChatON which is a communication service started by Samsung. It even has a dedicated key to launch this application. ChatOn app can be used for messaging and chatting.
The Galaxy Chat will come with Quick Office editor and S Planner apps preinstalled.

  • Sensors : Accelerometer, proximity, compass
  • Samsung Nature UX layer (same as in Samsung Galaxy S3)
  • Battery : 1200 mAh


The Samsung Galaxy Chat is expected to ship from July starting in Spain and would gradually be rolled out to Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia.

The official price of Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 is not yet announced but it is expected the phone to be priced around Rs 8500.
